Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Nottingham. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Litigation Solicitor to join their litigation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor who enjoys client contact, strategic case management, and being part of a collaborative, high-performing team.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Litigation, you will advise and represent clients across a broad range of litigation matters. You will manage your own caseload, drive matters forward proactively, and deliver clear, commercially focused advice.
Key Responsibilities
1. Advise clients on all aspects of litigation matters
2. Manage cases efficiently from instruction to resolution
3. Draft high-quality legal documentation and correspondence
4. Communicate confidently with clients, colleagues and third parties
5. Provide regular cost updates and manage client expectations
6. Attend and lead client meetings as required
7. Accurately record time, manage billing and work towards financial targets
8. Contribute positively to the wider litigation team
About You
9. Qualified Solicitor with litigation experience
10. Commercially aware, with strong drafting and communication skills
11. Well organised and able to manage deadlines and competing priorities
12. Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to contribute to the firm\'s growth
