What the Finance Business Partner job involves You will play a key role in supporting the Head of Commercial Finance, focusing on operational reporting and business partnering for a globally based commercial team. Acting as the right-hand person to the Head of Commercial Finance, taking ownership of operational reporting responsibilities. Analysing and explaining operational variances to provide insightful commentary. Managing all aspects of management accounting for the commercial team. Preparing comprehensive data and presentations to support the Head of Commercial Finance. Business partnering with the commercial team, offering expertise in business planning and costing support. Providing valuable advice on product and service offerings. This is a varied and fast-paced role that would suit someone who enjoys being at the centre of a team, managing multiple priorities, and providing excellent financial and strategic support. Skills required We are seeking a proactive and hungry individual, eager for a challenge and able to seamlessly integrate into a young team dynamic. Ideal candidates will have: Full qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) is essential. A strong level of proficiency in Excel. Essential PowerPoint skills for presentation preparation. Proven commercial industry experience in operational reporting. Experience with multicultural stakeholders or a demonstrable openness to working with diverse teams. A meticulous approach to spreadsheet management, ensuring cleanliness and order. Other information Salary range of £70,000 to £75,000 per annum. 37.5 contracted hours per week. Hybrid working available 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. 15% employer pension contributions. 20% discretionary completion bonus for the 12-month fixed-term contract. Private BUPA healthcare for the individual. The initial 12-month fixed-term contract has the potential to become permanent based on funding.
