Position description / Job description
* Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
* Supporting students with classroom routines, behaviour management, and personal care when necessary.
* Using tailored communication to meet the individual needs of students.
* Developing positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents.
* Promoting positive social interactions and supporting students' emotional well-being.
* Assisting the class teacher in the delivery of the curriculum.
* Preparing and setting up learning resources.
* Monitoring and recording student progress.
Expectations / Requirements
We're looking for you, if:
* You have experience supporting children with SEN in school, residential, or care settings.
* You possess a calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
* You demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* You hold an Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or are willing to obtain one).
* You have the legal right to work in the UK and are willing to work long term full-time.
* Ideally, you are available for 5 days a week (Monday - Friday).
* Relevant experience and qualifications are preferred but not essential.
