Job Title: Painter and Decorator
Hourly Rate of Pay: £15.00
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 38 hours per week (8AM to 4.30PM - Monday to Thursday and 8AM to 2.30PM on Friday)
Location: Mitie, Units 13 & 14 (5 & 6 The Roundal), Roddinglaw Business Park, Edinburgh, EH12 9DB
We are seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator to perform internal and external painting and decorating, wall preparation, and minor repairs to surfaces prior to decorating.
The role involves erecting access equipment as needed, monitoring decorating material stock, requesting new stock, and ensuring all work is within the approved budget. You will also ensure decorating equipment is well-maintained and reused efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have a recognized qualification or a minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in painting and decorating, preferably with a recognized apprenticeship. Organization, self-motivation, and good communication skills are essential. A full driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
