Salary:SLP Grade 2 £24,790 - £25,992 pa
Working Pattern:Monday – Friday 37 hrs per week, (split shifts) whole time Annual
leave: 32 days + statutory bank holidays
Due to the current postholder’s retirement, Collierley Nursery and Primary School is looking to appoint a competent, reliable, and hardworking Site Supervisor to join our friendly, busy, village school as soon as possible.
You will be required to open up the school in readiness for the school day and lock up at the end of the day, ensuring the building is secure. This will necessitate split shift working.
The successful candidate will take pride in their work and undertake basic site management of the school building(s) and surrounding grounds within the school ‘footprint’ to ensure the school is safe and that we are able to maximise the (internal and external) benefits of our fantastic facilities.
As a Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role in making a difference in our school community on a daily basis by contributing to the provision of a high-quality learning environment by:
• supporting the ethos of the school
• ensuring the smooth running of the school site and building
• supervising cleaning staff and arranging work rotas
• being highly motivated, with effective problem-solving skills.
• having an awareness of health and safety, security and hygiene issues.
• assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the premises, including fixtures, fittings and furniture.
• undertaking inspections to ensure necessary safe operation and that the legislative requirements are being met.
• carrying out any cleaning duties required both in school and on the school grounds.
• enjoying working as part of a team, being adaptable and supportive of colleagues.
• having excellent organisation and communication skills.
