Consultant: Respiratory
Division: Specialist Medicine
Band: Consultant
Salary: £105,504 - £139,882 Per annum/Pro rata
Interview date: 28th May 2025
We are recruiting for a Respiratory Consultant who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff. We are looking for a Consultant with an interest in lung cancer, pleural disease or sleep and ventilation but there is flexibility to accommodate other interests and we would welcome an informal discussion.
The post will also be involved in improvement in the emergency patient pathway by delivering early consultant led specialist input for patients and facilitate early discharge. This will drive an improvement in both the patient’s experience and quality but will also improve flow.
The Respiratory service also provides daily in-reach ward rounds into AMU and outlying wards.
It would be expected that the post holder would be able to manage Respiratory patients both as inpatients and outpatients. It would also be expected from the post holder to support the delivery of the out of hours and weekend rota (currently at frequency 1:8).
We are committed to endorsing diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion; our policies and procedures ensure that all applicants are treated fairly at every stage of the recruitment process.
To contribute to our exciting future and become part of our team, apply today.
Here at Medway, we pride ourselves on working together as one to ensure that our shared vision of Better, Best, Brilliant is achieved. Our culture and values are what drives the Trust and is the heartbeat of who we are as an organisation.
Our Trust is a great choice for people who want to develop their career in an ambitious environment.
