Our client, a social housing provider in Huddersfield is recruiting for a Night Support Worker to work with 16-25s facing homelessness. The role will consist of shifts from 21:30 - 8:45, some weekend working is required. This will be based on a 4 week rolling rota.
The duties of the Youth Night Support Worker:
* Working with young people aged 16-25 years
* Allowing entry into the building
* Supporting young people in person and over the phone when needed
* Ensuring the safety of those inside the building
* Operating CCTV
* Housing management tasks including recording notes and taking part in accurate handovers
* General upkeeping of the staff and communal areas and assisting with void management, ensuring rooms are ready for re-let
