Who we are: We operate Electrical, Mechanical, Fabrication and Technical Design departments from our offices and manufacturing facility located in South Norfolk. We primarily engage in projects within the commercial, industrial, agricultural and utility sectors and have a very close working relationship with Anglian Water. Working on both Potable and Waste Water sites. Job Summary: With continually increasing sales, we are looking to expand our workforce. We are looking for Mechanical Supervisors. The role involves installation of various size’s and types of pipe and all varieties of steel work. please note that this role will include working on active sewage treatment works and some sites may require staying away from home Monday to Friday. Monday to Friday – 8:00-16.30 Full-time, 40 Hours per week Overtime available at time and a half Remote Working: Unavailable Main duties will include: To read and interpret engineering drawings. Able to Supervise a team of varying levels of ability. Carry out necessary checks and quality assurance of products as per specifications. Ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy, adhering to Health and Safety and any Customer Site procedures and policies at all times for site work. Maintain equipment in a safe, clean and good working order. When not required to work on site you will be expected to work at our assembly location in South Norfolk. Overnight stays are pre-requisites of this role. Assist with any other task as required in line with business needs and as required within your skill set and experience. Requirements Skills & Experience Required: Possession of a valid CSCS card and required skills and trade cards required for site work is a distinct advantage. Be flexible to assist with any role within any location within reason. A welding qualification would be advantageous. Possess a good understanding of engineering drawings. Hold a full valid driving licence with the flexibility of travelling as required. Experience of working on site. Ability to work within a team or on your own. Being able to use your own initiative to solve problems. Have an attention to detail and quality. Possess a ‘can do’ attitude. SSSTS/SMSTS Desirable skills/Qualifications A welding qualification. EUSR (blue clean water card) Anglian Water safety passport. CPCS/ Slinger/ Signaller. Confined Space training. PASMA/IPAF. First aid at work certificate. Benefits Salary £15.30 -£17.30 per hour D.O.E. Pay is calculated depending on your qualification and experience within the industry.
