Job Description
The Vibe: Your Role as Fleet Ambassador
You arent just checking vans; you’re the "Guardian of the Fleet." Youll ensure our tech and vehicles are safe, legal, and looking sharp. Youre the person who keeps the operation moving smoothly and safely.
Your Day-to-Day:
* Tech-First Inspections: Use our vehicle app to track the condition of our fleet.
* The Safety Pro: Ensure all 3.5T vans are within weight limits and pull any vehicles that arent up to standard (VOR).
* Problem Solver: Help drivers report defects and ensure they’re fixed ASAP.
* Site Management: Keep the depot flowing safely, managing traffic and equipment like fuel pumps and jump packs.
* Brand Boss: Make sure our drivers are rocking the DPD uniform and the vans are sparkling.
Weekly Focus:
* Stay organized using Google Calendar to track vehicle notices.
* Collaborate with the Transport Team to review any outstanding repairs.
* Manage stock (lights, mirrors, etc.) and keep our HGV fleet data accurate.
