Job Description
The Role
As the Third-Party Brand Assistant Buyer supporting the Brand Connection & Acquisition team, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the newly onboarded brands to ASOS. You will help drive brand visibility, campaign integration, and commercial planning sitewide to maximize engagement with consumers. This is a creative yet commercial role that requires collaboration with buying teams and stakeholders to drive the business forward.

The Brand Connection & Acquisition team's mission is to scout, contact, chase, pitch, and onboard exciting brands for our customers, expanding our portfolio and driving engagement. We oversee the entire process from onboarding to launch, working with marketing to build customer engagement and attract new customers, in collaboration with the B&M teams who support and own the brands.
The goal is to create best-in-class brand activations that drive success for new launches and maintain momentum on existing brands, balancing attracting new customers and engaging our current base, aligned with commercial priorities and executed by marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop a six-month view of 3PB priorities and launches, presenting detailed, creative plans to senior stakeholders.
* Extract key commercial messages for reactive social and marketing moments, understanding cross-departmental offerings to fill gaps and answer queries.
* Support teams in delivering end-to-end brand launches.
* Coordinate marketing support for each brand within the portfolio, ensuring high awareness across all business pillars.
* Drive completion of new launch reporting packs and serve as the main contact for launch queries.
* For campaigns and homepage planning, curate compelling product offers, present messages confidently, and manage samples to meet briefs and deadlines.
* Compile key messages for big deal stories, prioritize seasonal moments, social trends, and sales data to highlight hero products.
* Maintain regular communication with stakeholders for product planning.
* Prepare decks for ad hoc moments throughout the commercial calendar.
Qualifications
We'd love to meet someone who
* Has previous Fashion Buying experience as an Assistant Buyer within a fast-paced, global retailer or brand.
* Lives and breathes fashion and is passionate about the product.
* Understands 20-something culture and the ASOS customer, with an eye for relevant trends.
* Is highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
* Has excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in pricing, shipment dates, and product attributes.
* Can build strong relationships with retail teams and suppliers.
* Embodies the ASOS values: Authentic, Brave, Creative, Disciplined.
* Communicates and presents effectively at all levels.
* Has experience with trading systems and MS Office.
