Overview Humly is looking for a dedicated and empathetic SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a primary school team in Ribbleton, Preston. This role is focused on supporting younger learners within the EYFS and Key Stage 1 departments who require additional assistance to access the curriculum and thrive in a classroom setting. The position is scheduled to commence in September 2026. While the initial long-term booking is for the first term, there is a very high likelihood that the role will remain in place for the full academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide early intervention support and witness the significant progress these pupils make over a full school year. Shortlisting for this role will start during the may half-term. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and expectations. Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Primary setting. Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere. Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school. Candidate Profile Relevant qualifications for a SEND Specialist (e.g., QTS or equivalent). Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Primary sector. Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.
