I'm currentlypartnered with a leading business in Central Bristol who are going through a period of expansion. Due to this growth, they are now looking to recruit a Procurement Manager to join the business to help design and deliver a continued strategic approach towards sourcing and contracting to ensure a value for money approach is taken.
In this role, you will help to support an existing function deliver Group level strategy, run cradle-to-grave procurement for both goods and services, help to develop a contracts database and effective SRM process and work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver procurement best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead on the design and delivery of a new, group wide procurement strategy and work closely with FinOps to create an 'Annual Procurement Plan'
2. Manage the end-to-end procurement process for a wide range of goods and services
3. Develop an effective approach to supplier relationship management via supplier KPIs to monitor quality, spend andpliance
4. Creation of a contracts database to monitor terms, renewals and performance
5. Work closely with internal stakeholders / budget holders to deliver procurement best practices, processes andernance
6. Identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier consolidation in areas of significant spend
7. Ensure a robust supply chain to mitigate risks
8. Effectively manage the creation of procurement documentation
9. Work closely with finance throughout the procurement lifecycle to assist with forecasting, budgeting and spend
10. Help develop the procurement function in the future with external recruitment and potential management responsibilities
What would make you a good fit?
11. Strong working experience in similar procurement roles
12. A deep understanding of procuring indirect goods and services
13. CIPS qualifications would be desirable
14. Previous experience developing procurement strategy
15. mercially astute with the capability to negotiate, influence and manage internal stakeholders and suppliers
16. Confidentmunicator with the ability to build robust relationships across a variety of levels
17. An analytical, problem solving and solution orientated mindset
