Driver Resource are currently seeking to recruit Class 1 Drivers to work on an ongoing basis for our client based at Magna Park Lutterworth, Leicestershire. JOB ROLE WILL INCLUDE: • Average drop 1 - 3 deliveries/collections per shift. • 10-12-hour shifts on average however, it is possible to complete a 15 hour day. • Curtainside & Refrigerated vehicles. • Delivery to RDC’s throughout the UK. • Mostly driving however, there will be a requirement to assist loading & unloading if required by the Clients Customers with the use of a pump truck. • Complete POD's & Return them to the transport office. • Ensuring goods are safely secured. • Completing LGV vehicle defect and maintaining logs. SHIFT PATTERNS: Monday to Friday Weekends available. Start times vary from 02:00 - 06:00 & 16:00 - 20:00. AM RATE OF PAY: PAYE Holiday / Including Holiday MON - FRI £14.50 / £16.25 SAT & SUN £16.50 / £18.49 PM RATE OF PAY: PAYE Holiday / Including Holiday MON - FRI £16.50 / £18.49 SAT & SUN £18.50 / £20.73 What we are looking for: • A valid full category CE Licence (Class 1) with a minimum of 2 years experience • No more than 6 points on driving licence. • NO DR, IN or MS90 conviction codes due to insurance restrictions • Minimum age 25 years due to insurance criteria • Drivers will be required to have a good attitude and able to Work by themselves or with a team. • Demonstrates excellent communication skills. • Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail. • Able to manage your time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs).
