Sales Engineer - Lighting Controls
London & South East | Hybrid
£45,000 - £60,000 + Bonus (£65,000 - £80,000 OTE) + Car
The Opportunity
We're working with a well-established UK company that specialises in bespoke lighting control systems for high-profile developments.
This is a technical sales role, focused on influencing projects from early design through to delivery. You'll be selling solutions, not products, working closely with consultants, contractors and developers.
If you enjoy being involved in projects from concept to completion, this is a strong opportunity.
The Role
You'll sit within the specification team, helping secure and deliver projects by providing technical and commercial input throughout the lifecycle.
What You'll Be Doing
* Building relationships with M&E consultants, contractors and developers
* Supporting specification and system design
* Providing technical advice and tailored proposals
* Managing projects from enquiry through to handover
* Working closely with engineering and commissioning teams
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities
* Attending client meetings, site visits and project reviews
What We're Looking For
* Experience in technical sales or specification
* Background in lighting controls, BMS, electrical or smart building tech
* Strong understanding of construction or building services
* Confident communicator both technically and commercially
* Experience managing stakeholders across project lifecycles
* Self-motivated and organised
What's On Offer
* £45,000 - £60,000 basic salary
* £65,000 - £80,000 OTE
* Up to 20% bonus + additional incentives
* £5,000 - £6,000 car allowance or company car
