Job Description
Our client based in central Birmingham, recognised within the Legal 500 are seeking to add a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to work in our clients Post-Exchange team.
You will have a minimum of 2 years + experience. Hybrid working, private healthcare and life assurance are some of the many benefits on offer.
The successful candidate will play a vital within the team, dealing with a significant number of transactions from the point of exchange of contracts to completion and beyond to registration.
Responsibilities for this Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer vacancy:
* Prepare and approve transfer deed and leases
* Prepare for the execution and completion
* Review replies to pre-completion requisitions
* Submit and review searches
* Preparing SDLT returns and arranging payment
* Prepare AP1 applications
* Provide regular updated reporting to the partner lead
* Take an active role and responsibility in training and developing more junior members of the team
* Provide the team with progress reports
* Review post exchange and post completion processes
Person Specification for this Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer vacancy:
* At least two year’s PQE as a Solicitor, CILEx Lawyer or Licensed Conveyancer in the UK
* Experience in dealing with Post Completion registrations and matters in volume.
* Experience of supervising a team of paralegals.
* Competent in all MS applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Able to be client focused and have an approachable manner
* Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Able to work with limited supervision with the ability to prioritise workload to increase efficiency.
