Teaching Assistant (SEN / Intervention Support) role:
The successful Teaching Assistant will be working as part of an energetic and supportive team, focusing on delivering targeted English and Maths interventions while providing tailored support to pupils with additional needs across KS1 and KS2.
We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant who is confident working with young people who may face barriers to learning and can adapt to working across different classrooms.
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role
* Demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills, particularly in supporting English and Maths interventions
* Have experience supporting pupils with EHCPs or additional needs (desirable)
* Be adaptable and confident working across different classrooms and year groups
* Possess strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Show a genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting pupil development
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
