Windows Infrastructure Engineer (Platform Operations) | Up to £650 Outside IR35 | 6 Months | 3 days p/week in London | Azure, VMs, Windows Infrastructure, Routing, Networking, Meraki Switches, Saas.
I’m working with an InsurTech client that’s looking for a Platform Operations Engineer to join their team on an initial 6‑month contract.
They’re seeking someone with a strong Windows Infrastructure background who can operate within a Platform Operations function while also bringing project management capability. You’ll help plan and roadmap projects, coordinate resourcing, and act as a bridge between the technical teams and the wider business.
This role is semi‑technical: you’ll handle smaller hands‑on tasks yourself, while also scoping and prioritising larger pieces of work for engineers.
Key Skills & Experience
* Traditional Windows Infrastructure Engineering
* ITIL / Project Management knowledge
* Strong Cloud experience with Azure
* Routing & Networking
* Meraki Switches
* SaaS Firewalls
* Active Directory
* Strong communication and stakeholder management
* Ability to prioritise workloads and support project planning
