Pertemps is proud to be working in partnership with Royal Mail, the UK’s leading postal service provider. We’re currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Onboarding Administrator to join the team and support the seamless recruitment and vetting process for new starters.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in recruitment administration, onboarding, or vetting who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering a first-class candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the onboarding and vetting process for new Royal Mail employees
2. Collect, verify, and process candidate documentation (e.g., right to work, ID checks, references)
3. Liaise with candidates to ensure all required paperwork is submitted in a timely manner
4. Input and maintain accurate records on internal systems
5. Communicate with internal teams and hiring managers regarding candidate progress
6. Ensure compliance with Royal Mail’s recruitment and security standards
7. Provide general administrative support as required
What we’re looking for:
8. Previous experience in recruitment, onboarding, or vetting administration
9. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
10. Confident communicator with strong interpersonal abilities
11. Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple tasks
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal database systems
13. A proactive, can-do attitude with a professional approach
Working Hours, Pay Rate and Other Info:
14. Pay Rate - £13.41 per hour
15. Temporary, ongoing with a start date of Week Commencing 22nd September
16. Hybrid working offered after initial training period, requirement to work in the office 2-3 days per week
17. 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 0900-1700
