Description Walsall Borough Leisure, Bereavement and Commercial services Shift Supervisor for Sport & Leisure Services - Ref: EE02426 G6: £31,537 - £34,434 per annum Full time post based at Darlaston swimming pool. This is a dual role involving shift supervision and additional lifeguard duties. The Shift Supervisor will become part of the leisure centre management team supporting the Facility manager in Walsall Leisure’s vision of “more people, more active more often”. You will be responsible for providing the onsite management of each assigned shift and ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to our customers. Hours of work: The job requires shift work Monday to Sunday, required to work evenings and weekends as required in accordance with local arrangements across leisure. Qualifications: QCF Level 3 Qualification in supervisory / management or a related discipline (or to be achieved within 24 months of appointment) CIMSPA National Pool Plant Operator Certificate and First Aid at work (or to be achieved within 12 months of appointment) National Pool Lifeguard Qualification / RLSS / STA Lifeguard or equivalent Knowledge and Experience: Substantial experience within the leisure industry, with experience of staff supervision.
