Project Assistant / Assistant Project Manager - Temporary Contract

Are you an ambitious and highly competent Project Assistant or Assistant Project Manager with a strong technical background in mechanical or electrical works We have an immediate contract opportunity for a hands-on professional to join our team at a prestigious research campus .
We are seeking an assistant to help manage the day-to-day running of our busy sites. With a significant increase in workload due to new tenders, this role is essential to our operations. It's a temporary position lasting until the end of January, with the strong potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate as our project pipeline continues to grow.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Project Management Support: Assist with the end-to-end management of various projects ranging in size and scope across the campus.
* Health & Safety: Conduct and manage site inductions and health and safety checks to ensure a safe working environment.
* Programming & Documentation: Help with project programming and other key administrative tasks to keep projects on schedule.
* On-Site Presence: Be a key presence on site, ready to step up and handle project needs in the absence of the Project Manager.
* Coordination: Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience: Proven site experience, ideally with a background in mechanical or electrical works.
* Qualifications: You must have a valid Black CSCS Card and an NVQ Level 6 qualification.
* Flexibility: The ability to be flexible with working hours and work overtime if required.
* Initiative: A proactive and self-motivated individual who can quickly learn and take on responsibility.

* Location: Based at a leading research campus
* Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (with flexibility)
* Rate: 350 - 360 per day
* Start: Immediate start required.
