We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Advisor to become a vital part of our Payroll Team at our Head Office in Normanton. Position Details:
* Schedule: Monday - Friday (09:00am - 13:00pm) Days - NEGOTIABLE - must cover 5 days per week
* Location: IPL Head Office - Normanton - Hybrid
* Contract Type: Permanent - 20 Hours Per Week
We are seeking an experienced Payroll professional who will ensure that payroll is processed and paid to an agreed schedule, as well as ensuring that all inputs and outputs faithfully reflect and remunerate the activities of the weekly and monthly paid workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with the HR department to process inputs for the payroll.
* Administer both a monthly and weekly payroll for a large, multi-site workforce ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and timely, accurate payments.
* Process end to end payroll on our in house payroll software as a team.
* Investigate and trace payroll discrepancies back to their source, working with relevant stakeholders to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Produce and deliver labour cost reports and analysis to support P&L reporting requirements.
What We’re Looking For
* Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
* Exceptional attention to detail with the confidence to challenge and improve error-prone processes.
* A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally within a fast-paced environment
