8. Break/Fix Hardware Requests: Diagnose and resolve hardware issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted data centre operations
9. Racking & Stacking: Safely and efficiently install and configure servers, networking equipment, and storage devices
10. Cabling: Expertly handle full fibre and copper patch installations, ensuring optimal connectivity
11. Migration & Upgrade Projects: Collaborate on migration and upgrade initiatives, implementing changes to improve performance
12. Rack Installations, Network, and Server Installations: Set up and maintain rack infrastructure, networking components, and servers
13. Fault Finding and IP-Based Troubleshooting: Identify and rectify network and hardware issues using IP-based troubleshooting techniques
14. Decommissioning of Legacy Equipment: Safely decommission and retire outdated hardware, following best practices
15. Installation and Configuration of Cabinet UPS and PDU Equipment: Ensure uninterruptible power supply and distribution units are installed and configured correctly
16. Producing Full Survey/Audit Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of the site’s communication environment to support efficient management
17. Previous experience in data centre operations or a related field is preferred
18. Strong knowledge of hardware, networking, and cabling technologies
19. Familiarity with data centre equipment and infrastructure
20. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
21. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
22. Strong communication and teamwork skills
23. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
