Job Description
What the Role Involves:
1. Providing personalised, live-in care to older adults in their own homes
2. Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing, and mobility
3. Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with hydration
4. Medication prompting (where trained)
5. Providing companionship and emotional support
6. Helping clients maintain independence and routines
7. Keeping clear and accurate daily care records
What We’re Looking For:
8. Experience in elderly care (live-in experience desirable but not essential)
9. A kind, patient, and compassionate nature
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to work independently within a client’s home
12. Right to work in the UK
13. PVG membership (or willingness to obtain one)
14. Must live in or near Edinburgh
