Position Overview:

* Hours: Sundays only, 5 hours
* Location: Dunfermline Shop, East Port

About Us: At Cancer Research UK, we aim to beat cancer. We are seeking a motivated retail assistant to join our trading team, acting as an ambassador and managing the shop on Sundays.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee shop operations on Sundays, including keyholder duties (training provided) and supporting volunteers.
2. Help achieve sales and fundraising targets.
3. Review and process donated goods and stock.
4. Develop ideas to generate income with guidance from the Shop Manager.
5. Provide excellent customer service to supporters and customers.
6. Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.
7. Perform manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.

* Commercial awareness.
* Strong communication skills.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, respecting personal commitments.
