Nursery Apprentice (Early Years) Location: Just outside Redditch Hours: Full-time (including study time) Salary: Apprenticeship wage (in line with current guidelines) About the Role We are looking for a motivated and caring Nursery Apprentice to join a welcoming, high-quality early years setting located just outside of Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with young children while gaining a recognised childcare qualification. Key Responsibilities Support the daily care, learning, and development of children aged 05 Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents/carers Observe and record childrens progress under supervision Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times What Were Looking For A genuine interest in working with young children A positive, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude Good communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and complete an apprenticeship qualification GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are desirable but not essential What We Offer A supportive and friendly team environment On-the-job training alongside a recognised childcare qualification Opportunities for career progression within early years A rewarding role making a real difference in childrens development This role is subject to appropriate safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
