Role Summary
We’re currently looking to add a Senior engineer/technician to our Engineering team. Working as part of the Engineering team you will be responsible for the build, development, and support of industrial Human Machine Interface systems (hardware + software) for the modernisation and upgrade of our manufacturing systems.
Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and test standardised HMI builds on Windows endpoints, Servers, and Clients. Including engineering software such as: AVEVA Intouch, FactoryTalk Optix, Simatic PCS7, WinCC
* Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures: Windows hardening, endpoint security, whitelisting, secure backups; configure, develop, and test networking components such as industrial firewalls and managed switches.
* Develop and maintain work instruction documentation for build configurations; create and maintain information databases.
* Collaborate and support the Project Execution team to enhance quality and on-time delivery.
* Identify and rectify problems found during testing of software/hardware and support the Field Service team during commissioning of equipment/software.
Requirements
* Degree qualified or equivalent professional accreditation or recognition in an engineering discipline, preferably relating to Computer Science, Control Systems, or Cybersecurity
Preferred Qualifications
* 1+ years of experience with industrial controls system applications such as Rockwell/Allen Bradley ControlLogix, PCS7 Control Systems, AVEVA Intouch, FactoryTalk Optix
* Familiarity with industrial networks and cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and regulations such as IEC-62443, NCSC CAF, EU Cyber Resilience Act
* Working knowledge of change/configuration management tools and processes, and experience with IT tools for business analytics and project management
* Practitioner of a Systems Engineering approach to product improvement is highly desirable
