Laundry Assistant

About the Role:
As a Laundry & Domestic Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a high standard of hygiene and comfort for residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring communal areas, resident rooms and laundry services are kept clean, organised, and welcoming at all times
2. Sorting, washing, drying, and folding laundry efficiently, while paying attention to individual resident needs
3. Following infection prevention and control procedures to maintain a safe environment for all
4. Assisting the wider care team to promote dignity, comfort, and wellbeing for residents
5. Providing flexible support to meet the needs of the home
You’ll Need:
6. Previous cleaning or laundry experience is preferred, but not essential
7. A caring, patient, and respectful attitude towards older people
8. Flexibility and adaptability to support different areas of the home as needed
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard
10. Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment
