Albion Rye Associates is delighted to partner with a nationally recognised, award-winning law firm to recruit a Healthcare Solicitor into their market-leading public law and patient care team. This role offers the chance to work on some of the most complex, sensitive, and high-impact healthcare legal issues in the UK — often involving decisions that shape public policy, clinical practice, and individual lives. The Role You’ll work alongside a stellar group of Partners advising NHS bodies, healthcare providers, and public authorities on a wide range of matters including: Court of Protection and best interests cases (Mental Capacity Act 2005) Mental Health Act advisory and disputes NHS Continuing Healthcare and responsible commissioner issues Governance, prioritisation, and exceptional funding cases Incident investigations and Care Act assessments You’ll join a collaborative, national team with offices in Birmingham, London, and Manchester — and enjoy a hybrid working model with some national travel to meet client needs. About You You’re likely 2–5 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) Solid working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and health law framework is highly beneficial Strong communication, drafting, and analytical skills are essential You thrive in a team, stay calm under pressure A genuine interest in healthcare law, clinical governance, and public service Why Apply?
