We are looking for a forward‑thinking person to join our world‑class teams to support the Ware manufacturing site’s laboratories.
Job Purpose
The Lead Analyst is proficient in numerous analytical techniques (e.g. HPLC set up and use). You will support the laboratory Team Leader by providing expert laboratory analytical services for the site to ensure delivery of compliant products to our customers. This includes troubleshooting and identifying remedial actions in line with procedures, and working on specific initiatives aligned to Laboratory strategy.
Responsibilities
* Support laboratory management in overseeing the execution of batch/job testing and release for a testing group.
* Support the delivery of compliance activities and provide guidance and support to Analysts in the team.
* Prepare and check data accurately according to company, customer and regulatory requirements, and verify the quality/accuracy of results.
* Ensure Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and compliance with EHS regulations in the laboratory at all times.
* Maintain working relationships with local areas, customers and suppliers, and contribute to improvement initiatives within the laboratory group and with cross‑functional teams.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualification and/or experience from a highly regulated industry.
* Strong knowledge of cGMP and its impact on daily responsibilities.
* Experience managing and planning day‑to‑day activities for a team.
* Experience in root‑causing laboratory investigations and deviations.
* Strong knowledge and experience of laboratory testing techniques for intermediate and final products in a GMP (Quality) environment.
* Good report‑writing skills, a strong continuous improvement mindset, and a willingness to work toward standardised practices.
* Excellent people skills and a proven ability to work in a team (flexible approach, good communication, planning and organisational skills).
