Greystar is looking for dedicated and hard-working individuals to join our team in Birmingham, United Kingdom. We are a global real estate company focused on property management, investment management, development and construction services. This role supports day-to-day property and community management with a focus on resident experience and occupancy goals.
Job Responsibilities
* Works as part of a team to deliver exceptional resident living and supports the creation of a positive, memorable experience for residents.
* Delivers all aspects of customer service, including front of house service, and handles resident queries and complaints in line with Greystar’s complaints procedure.
* Supports events and activities within the Community; maintains relationships with university clients; develops local knowledge of travel, entertainment and amenities.
* Completes administrative tasks including logging maintenance requests, filing, preparing notices and updating databases.
* Participates in marketing activities such as open days and leafleting; assists with sales and leasing activities including viewings and follow-ups.
* Assists with summer community preparations, including move-in and move-out processes; completes Health and Safety compliance activities; participates in on-call roster for out-of-hours support as required.
* Chases outstanding rent arrears following rent collection procedures; promotes tenancy extensions and other revenue streams; raises purchase orders and ensures timely tenant refunds.
* Looks to maximize efficiency of utilities and supports general property operational needs.
Knowledge & Qualification
* Good level of general education.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other systems such as databases or booking systems; training on in-house systems provided.
* Understanding of UK Health and Safety requirements and legislation.
Experience & Skills
* Excellent customer service skills with significant experience in a customer-facing role.
* Strong team player with relationship-building and influencing skills; able to act autonomously and make decisions when required.
* Fluent English (verbal and written) with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; good numerical skills.
* Ability to adapt communication and negotiation style to diverse audiences; flexible and proactive in a changing environment.
* Enthusiasm to deliver an exceptional experience to stakeholders and a commitment to continuous learning.
