Raytheon UK is searching for a Operational Change Manager to join our OMNIA® Training team.
Responsibilities
* Responsibility for reviewing, authorising and approving all emergency, standard and normal change with the enterprise and empowered with the Authority to implement or reject a change.
* Coordinate and conduct meetings with the enterprise Change Advisory board (CAB) and Emergency CAB to discuss higher risk changes and communicate with all stakeholders to ensure that approved change is managed without impact to the Live Service.
* Responsible for ensuring that all the change activities are approved in accordance with extant processes and procedures.
* Deliver and maintain impact assessments and mitigation strategies/plans, providing informative reports to the Engineering LT Team.
* Prepare change summary reports to support CAB meetings to assist the CAB team to understand and evaluate the proposed change.
* Evaluate every change using the Change Evaluation process. Include Change Evaluation, as part of the Change Management Policy, which defines when this process should be applied.
* Prepare Change Evaluation reports following change activities to evaluate the actual performance of a change against predicted performance.
* Responsible for managing the Change Management Process and maintaining the respective process documents including: Change Management Policy, Change Management Plan, Change Evaluation Process and Change Evaluation Reports.
* Working with Customer and key stakeholders to ensure that change activities are managed effectively and collegiately. The successful candidate should be able to operate independently and build trust in the Change Management Process.
* Noting that processes and approach should not be driven by toolsets - select the best functional tools available to meet the task to be achieved, unless the Customer has already mandated specific tooling.
* Incorporates the principle of Continuous Service Improvement in day-to-day working practices, including the authoring of relevant Knowledge Articles.

This position requires a customer first mindset, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability work in a multidisciplinary engineering team in a complex and evolving environment.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Proven experience managing operational change processes within complex IT or technical service environments.
* Strong knowledge of ITIL change management principles and service management frameworks.
* Experience coordinating Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and managing change governance activities.
* Ability to assess operational risks and impacts associated with system or infrastructure changes.
* Experience managing change workflows within service management platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, ServiceDesk Plus).
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple technical teams.
* Experience maintaining change records, reporting metrics, and ensuring compliance with governance processes.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent changes.
* ITIL certification (Foundation or higher).
* Holds or is eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Experience working within defence, government, or regulated operational environments.
* Experience working with cloud and platform-based solutions and deployments.
* Experience supporting major system deployments, releases, or platform upgrades.
* Familiarity with configuration management and CMDB processes.
* Experience supporting DevOps or DevSecOps delivery environments.
* Knowledge of service transition and release management processes.
* Experience implementing process improvements within IT service management frameworks.
* Familiarity with system monitoring and operational support environments.
* Experience coordinating cross-programme or system-of-systems changes.
* Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation or platform modernisation programmes.
