Job Description

The Company My client is a private equity owned legal firm who are growing exponentially. Due to this, they are expanding their tech function and are recruiting for a Head of Data to join their team. The Role Define and execute the overall data strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and drives value.

Oversee the data team, including data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts, providing leadership, mentorship, and resource allocation. Establish and enforce data governance policies for data quality, privacy, security (e.g., GDPR, CCPA compliance), and ethical use. Manage the entire data lifecycle, from data acquisition and storage (e.g., data warehousing, data lakes) to processing and utilisation.

Drive the development and deployment of advanced analytics, machine learning models, and business intelligence (BI) solutions to generate actionable insights. Collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership and departments (e.g., Marketing, Product, Finance) to integrate data-driven decision-making. Manage the data technology stack and infrastructure, evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and capability.
