People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in ALDRIDGE, WEST MIDLANDS.

Day to Day Duties:
Your duties as a 3.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to:
* Driving delivery vans safely and efficiently
* 15-minute vehicle check
* Sometimes working with a driver's mate
* Communicating with the Transport Manager daily
* Communicating with customers in a kind and friendly manner
* Occasionally completing a night out
* Delivering anything from building supplies to furniture
* Using navigation tools, such as a satnav, to complete drops
Essential Skills
As a 3.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:
* Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence
* Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Category B vehicles
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
* Must have good knowledge of UK road network
* Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
* Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
* Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Effective communication skills
* Must be over 21 years old due to insurance purposes
Desirable Experience
* Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
* Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
Training
* Online assessment to be done before assignment starts
