Overview
Management Consultant - Logistics at Capgemini Invent. Join our Logistics squad to deliver solutions in Warehouse, Transport, TMS, OMS, and digital AI technologies, contributing to a connected supply chain. Located in London, Glasgow, and Manchester.
Responsibilities
* Drive the direction of the Logistics team, setting strategy and developing operational, warehouse and transport capabilities.
* Coach and develop junior team members, embodying Capgemini values.
* Contribute to business development through proposals, RFPs, client pitches and event hosting.
* Participate in internal initiatives such as campaign development, whitepapers, practice development and offering enhancement.
* Engage in learning & development activities, including training and certifications to support career growth.
Qualifications
* Previous experience of warehouse operations with clear understanding of processes and optimisation.
* Previous experience of multimodal transport operations with clear understanding of processes and optimisation.
* Experience leading or contributing to project teams, familiar with waterfall and agile methodologies.
* Background as a management consultant or in business improvement programmes with global/regional impact.
* Ideally, experience implementing industry‑leading WMS solutions.
* Understanding of integrated supply chain solutions that interface with WMS, OMS, TMS, and in‑store systems.
* Ideally, experience implementing TMS and/or related supply‑chain solutions and managing vendor relationships.
* Knowledge of strengths and limitations of strategic logistics software solutions.
* Experience in testing processes, methods, tools, and strategies.
* Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, with ability to deliver verbal and written updates at various levels.
* Customer‑first mentality.
* Experience producing and managing budgets in a sales and project delivery environment.
* Ability to thrive in a matrixed organisation and secure peer support for consulting solutions.
Location & Employment
London, Glasgow, Manchester – flexible within the UK. Full‑time, Mid‑Senior level.
