Role: Criminal litigation Lawyer Location: Rotherham – hybrid Umbrella Rate: £50 to £55ph PAYE Inc Rate: £44.10 to £48.44ph Contract Length: 3 months ongoing Key Responsibilities Drafting pleadings, statements, orders and legal documentation. Able to handle caseloads involving a range of litigation work, including Criminal Litigation, Civil Litigation, Education law, Employment Law and Licensing. To attend meetings of the Council’s Boards and Panels, in particular Sub-Committees in relation to Licensing matters and Complaints panels.Essential Requirements Qualified Solicitor with a valid Practising Certificate with strong knowledge in Criminal Litigation Law Strong experience in handling a broad Criminal litigation caseload Public sector experience is desirable but not essentialBenefits: Hybrid working Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
