Protocol Education are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to work within a specialist provision supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
Pupils within the school often have complex medical needs, physical disabilities and sensory processing differences, meaning lessons are highly personalised and often delivered through sensory-based learning approaches.
The school is well-resourced with specialist equipment, sensory rooms and therapy spaces to support pupil engagement and development.
As part of the teaching team, you will:
• Deliver highly adapted and sensory-focused learning activities
• Support pupils with communication and interaction
• Work alongside Teaching Assistants to support pupils with mobility and care needs
• Create a safe, calm and engaging learning environment
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt learning programmes accordingly
Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and ideally have experience working within SEND education.
Candidates should ideally hold a DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a DBS through Protocol Education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
