We are seeking a Project Support Officer to join our growing Defence sector team. Working on-site with our Defence clients, you will play a key role in enabling the successful delivery of large-scale, complex programmes that support the UK's national security and defence capability.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide project coordination and administrative support to project and programme managers.
* Maintain and update project documentation, schedules, risk logs, and reporting dashboards.
* Support governance activities, including preparation for project boards and stakeholder meetings.
* Track progress against plans, highlighting risks, issues, and dependencies.
* Ensure compliance with client and internal project management frameworks.
* Liaise with stakeholders across engineering, commercial, and delivery functions.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery practices.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Previous experience in a project support / project coordination role (Defence, Aerospace, or similar highly regulated environment desirable).
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Confidence in using MS Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent).
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) – essential for this role.
