Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Assistant to join our team. This pivotal role supports the smooth operation of our healthcare services and ensures that our standards of care and administration are upheld to the highest level. You will be a vital part of the team, working closely with healthcare professionals and management to provide excellent support across various functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to healthcare teams.
* Coordinate appointments, manage schedules, and liaise with patients and external partners.
* Assist in maintaining accurate records, including patient information and compliance documentation.
* Support the induction and training of junior staff and new team members.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of office systems and procedures.
* Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
* Support compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and organisational policies.
* Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Assist with procurement and stock management of medical and office supplies.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in an administrative or assistant role within Health, Nursing, or Social Care sectors.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Good understanding of healthcare terminology and regulatory requirements.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with healthcare management software is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated reliability, discretion, and professionalism.
* Qualification in Health and Social Care or related field is advantageous but not essential.
* Competitive hourly rate of £15.00 with opportunities for progression.
