Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an EHS Specialist to join them on a contract basis. This position will further complement the existing EHS team in line with continued business growth in the UK. The purpose of the role is to provide practical support to management and employees to achieve a high standard of EHS performance, with responsibilities extending to additional locations within the region as required.

Responsibilities
1. Provide practical support to management and employees to achieve a high standard of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) performance.
2. Ensure alignment with enterprise EHS requirements while maintaining compliance with regional regulations.
3. Prepare compliance and technical reports to meet Environmental, Health and Safety regulatory requirements.
4. Act as the primary EHS point of contact on site and interact with regulatory agencies as required, including preparing and submitting permit applications.
5. Perform program reviews, investigate incidents, and provide corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
6. Evaluate workplace hazards and provide input to new business opportunities and facilities projects to ensure compliance.
