Senco Slough,Berkshire January 2026 Permanent (Employed directly by the school) Leadership Fringe Pay Scale - £53,460 (depending on experience SEN Allowance) Forever Education is working with a Secondary school in Slough, Berkshire .Our client is seeking a Senco to join them from January 2026 on a permanent basis (Employed directly by the school) About the School * Graded ‘Good" in latest Ofsted report * Long Standing Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team * Modern & creative facilities throughout * Assistant Senco and experienced team of TA's * Good Public Transport Links - Train and Bus * Large Car Park onsite Key Responsibilities: * Develop, implement, and regularly update the school’s SEND policy in line with statutory requirements. * Lead the strategic direction and development of SEND provision across the school. * Advise senior leaders on resource allocation for SEND and contribute to whole-school improvement planning. * Promote a culture of inclusion, high expectations, and equal opportunities for all learners. * Coordinate the identification and assessment of pupils with SEND. * Oversee screening, diagnostic assessments, and referrals to external specialists. * Maintain an accurate and up-to-date SEND register. Key Experience & Knowledge: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete it within required timeframe). * In-depth knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and inclusive teaching strategies. * Ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
