Exance is a specialist MGA focused on Construction, Property, Financial Lines, Bonds & Surety, and LDI. We partner with brokers and capacity providers to underwrite with pace, clarity and technical depth. We're growing—and we're hiring a hands‑on Marketing Manager
to own the Exance brand and build a demand engine that fuels broker and carrier relationships.
The role
This is an on‑site role in Bristol. You'll take end‑to‑end ownership of Exance marketing—planning, campaigns, content, digital, events and measurement—working closely with Sales and Underwriting. If you like accountability, moving fast, and turning marketing into pipeline, you'll enjoy this role.
What you'll do
* Own the annual
brand & demand plan
for Exance; set quarterly KPIs and manage budget.
* Run
ABM programmes
for named brokers and capacity providers—email, LinkedIn, targeted content, and events.
* Manage
: site structure, landing pages, SEO roadmap, analytics, and conversion paths.
* Create and commission
content
(thought leadership, case studies, product one‑pagers, broker packs) and keep sales decks sharp.
* Plan and deliver
industry events/roundtables
; secure pre‑booked meetings and drive post‑event follow‑up.
* Operate the
MarTech stack
(Salesforce + Pardot/Account Engagement, GA4, CMS, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, ); publish monthly dashboards.
* Ensure brand consistency and
compliance
(GDPR/sector standards) across all channels.
* Coordinate internal design/ops and manage external partners to time, scope and budget.
What you'll bring
* 5+ years' B2B marketing experience in
insurance/financial services
(MGA, broking, insurer, or adjacent).
* Demonstrable
ABM/demand gen
track record that influenced pipeline.
* Hands‑on LinkedIn Campaign Manager; working knowledge of SEO tools.
* Strong copywriting and content skills; confident distilling technical topics.
* Stakeholder savvy; comfortable in a
fast‑moving, founder‑led
environment.
* Bristol‑based and office‑based
(this is not a remote/hybrid role).
* Right to work in the UK.
Nice to have
* Familiarity with Constuction, Property, Financial Lines, Surety and Medical Malpractice Insurance.
* Experience standing up/mentoring a small in‑house team.
* Basic design sensibility and agency/vendor management.
