Position About the role Title: Marketing Executive Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 (DOE) We're looking for marketing executive who's keen to join a successful marketing team at one of the UK's fastest growing HR software suppliers. This role is ideal for someone who's in their earlier stages, or looking to get a foothold, in the marketing profession, make their own mark and gain crucial marketing experience. The role offers the chance to work with and learn from a fabulously experienced team of marketers and work across a huge variety of marketing projects: from inbound lead generation, to in-person events, pay-per-click advertising and social media. This is a mainly remote role, with the successful applicant having the opportunity to work from home, but also having regular team meet-ups at the office in Southwark, London. Sound good? Then read on… Requirements Your responsibilities Development and implementation of core marketing activities - Work with our team of marketers to create and implement a wide variety of marketing activities Collaborate with the creative team to create engaging content - The chance to contribute your own content ideas and implement them, too Assist in management of company website and social media platforms - This includes the updating and re-purposing of old content, and the generation of ongoing social media campaigns Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and activity in the market - Keep an eye on what's going on the industry, what's being talked about, and what our competitors are up to Assist in organising virtual and in-person events - This includes industry technology shows, webinars and online product demonstrations Support the marketing team with general ad-hoc administrative tasks Skills and experience valued in your role Degree in marketing, communications, creative writing or related field (essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills - especially writing (essential) Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and an ability to quickly learn marketing software and tools (essential) Nice to have, but not essential Working knowledge of social media management platforms, such as Hootsuite Working knowledge of design software such as Photoshop or Canva Knowledge of SEO good practices Skills that will enable you to succeed A can-do, will-do attitude - We often work to tight deadlines, so someone who's keen to get involved in all aspects of our marketing function is essential Creative thinking and problem-solving skills - Someone who can look beyond a problem and come up with ideas to solve them Attention to detail - A keen eye is a must Analytical mindset - someone who's comfortable analysing data and using it to their advantage Willingness to learn - Someone who's keen to get stuck in at all levels of the marketing function Sense of humour - Yes, this is a job… but we like to have a bit of fun along the way, too Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams - Collaboration is a core part of our company's culture and vital to our ongoing success What if you don't have all the skills we're looking for?
