Your new company A well-established fabrication and engineering facility with over 40 years of expertise in laser-cutting, welding, and heavy fabrication. It operates from a modern large manufacturing space and employs around 110 skilled team members, known for delivering high-quality, precision-engineered components. The RoleAs a Quality Controller, you will play a key role in inspecting chassis, fabricated parts, and associated equipment. You'll support quality checks, audits, and process improvements while ensuring all products meet strict quality and safety Hour Week. Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:45pm, Friday 7:00am - 1:00pm What You'll DoAddress and raise quality concerns on a daily basisCarry out PDI inspections using 3D model software and complete associated reportsPerform paint checks on chassis, horns, and power unitsInspect internally fabricated parts and subassemblies before main buildComplete PDI reports, participate in morning meetings, and maintain documentationSupport the resolution of customer non-conformances (FRACAS)Maintain quality gates within designated areasEscalate non-conformances using the internal red tag processContribute to quality investigations where requiredConduct internal audits (5S, LSOP, etc.)Work collaboratively to support continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with all Health & Safety regulationsWhat You'll BringExperience in a Quality or Inspection roleExperience working within a Quality Management SystemKnowledge of measurement equipment (weld gauge, taper gauge, angle finder, etc.)Understanding of manufacturing processes and the weld processBasic computer skillsStrong teamwork and communication abilitiesGood awareness of Health & Safety requirementsAbility to produce clear handwritten reportsExperience in continuous improvement(Desirable) Knowledge of cut/fold processesWhy Join Us?Competitive rates of pay, Team Member bonus, Westfield healthcare, 33 holidays, pension, life assurance, LinkedIn Learning, on site free parking, and Perks discount card.You'll be part of a supportive and committed team that values quality, continuous improvement, and a collaborative work environment.
