Project Manager – Band 7 (Fixed term)
We are seeking an experienced project manager to join our small but dynamic innovation team. This role focuses on developing and evaluating new technology in collaboration with industry and academic partners, aimed at improving health and social care delivery.
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in project management tools and techniques, with experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal skills, are essential. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to deliver assigned projects.
The Planning, Innovation & Programmes Directorate offers a supportive environment emphasizing team and individual development and wellbeing. The Innovation Hub adopts a flexible work arrangement of home and office-based work. However, most in-person meetings will be held in Aberdeen, and travel to attend events and workshops may be required, so willingness to travel is essential.
This is a 12-month position, available as either fixed-term or secondment (subject to agreement from your current line manager).
