The postholder will provide a highly specialist clinical psychology service to adults with severe eating disorders in an inpatient setting, supporting the work of the multidisciplinary team. This will also involve supporting and developing teaching packages and clinical pathways, as well as service evaluation and development of psychological therapy services. The Eden Unit is a 10 bed regional inpatient unit covering the North of Scotland and also includes a four place day patient service. The multidisciplinary team includes psychiatry/medical, AHP and nursing staff. This is an exciting opportunity to develop the role of clinical psychology within the service supported by a consultant clinical psychologist. Additionally, there are close links with the D Clin Psychol/Edinburgh University and there are opportunities for specialist placements for trainees completing this course. The service has an active CPD programme, supports practitioners’ clinical and research interests and there are opportunities for individual and group supervision. Interview will be held via MS Teams.
