A welcoming primary school in Middlesbrough is looking for a caring and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a nurture hub, helping them develop confidence, emotional regulation, and access to learning.
Start: September start!Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
The Role
* Support pupils with SEMH needs in a nurture hub setting
* Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement
* Adapt activities to meet individual needs
* Work closely with the teacher and SENCO
* Support reintegration into mainstream where appropriate
We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children (SEND/SEMH desirable)
* Patient, calm and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Adaptable and proactive attitude
