Job Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated and skilled Craft Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our small workshop, and the delivery of specific processes in the creation of high-quality craft items.
This role is initially part-time but may become full-time.
It's about completing the manufacturing process of items in plaster and resins, working collaboratively to a high standard with great self-motivation, suiting someone with a desire for a flexible workstyle.
Duties
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Perform repairs and troubleshooting on mechanical systems, including engines, landing gear, and electrical systems.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and disassembly of aircraft components.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections performed.
* Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve technical issues efficiently.
* Adhere to all safety protocols while working in the hangar or workshop environment.
* Assist in inventory management within the warehouse, ensuring tools and parts are organised and readily available.
Experience
* Proven mechanical knowledge is essential, with experience in aircraft maintenance preferred.
* Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in assembly and repair tasks.
* Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, particularly in managing parts inventory.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
