Job Title: Engineer Surveyor (Lifting & Crane Equipment)
Location: Kendal, Cumbria
Salary: £37,500 plus Car Allowance and a Excellent Benefits Package (Overall worth £50,782)
Shift: Days, Monday - Friday, Flexible Working Hours

Job Role
A standout opportunity has become available for an Engineer Surveyor to join a leading inspection consultancy. Our client is looking for Engineers with a background of working on or with equipment such as forklifts, mobile elevated working platforms, passenger lifts and cranes and looking for something different in their career.
Responsibilities
* Conduct inspections to identify defects and help prevent potential, avoidable defects and complete detailed reports.
* Ensure all customers are compliant with LOLER / PUWAR regulations and provide excellent levels of customer service.
Qualifications
* Minimum Level 3 Engineering based qualification.
* Hands-on experience with different pieces of lifting equipment including forklifts, platforms, passenger lifts, cranes, plant equipment (diggers, dumpers), military vehicles or aircraft.
* Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
* Mechanical engineering qualification, NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent.
* Experience working on or with various pieces of lifting equipment within manufacturing, military, marine, distribution or field service environments.
* Must live around the Kendal, Cumbria area.
* Excellent knowledge of LOLER/PUWAR Regulations (desirable).
