Contract: Perm & Full Time Location: Nottingham Support Office Closing Date: Sunday 15th June 2025 Recruitment Partner: Shannon Linton, shannon.linton@boots.co.uk About the role The Head of Commercial for Boots Online Doctor is a full-time position based in Nottingham and is responsible for the leadership, development, and delivery of our Boots Online Doctor Services commercial strategy. Working with all partners (internal and external) to improve patient experience whist simultaneously influencing the strengthening of our current commercial plan plus, supporting with marketing and product to deliver profitable growth. Key responsibilities Accountable for day to day trading operations for Boots Online Doctor. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to shape, contribute and deliver the overarching strategy for the Boots Online Doctor business. Financial accountability includes ownership of the commercial budget, forecasting, and delivery against revenue/profit targets. Lead the 3 person commercial team and oversee marketing team of 8 for 2 days per week covering for the Head of Marketing who is reducing hours to 3 days per week. Oversee commercial operations and team productivity, building a culture based on our Boots Online Doctors values and guiding principles and ensuring team members thrive and organisational outcomes are met. Respond quickly to changes in patient demand by working in cooperation with operational and marketing teams to manage demand and maximise profitable order fulfilment where capacity is challenged. Transition of services and partnerships from the services development team into BAU. What you'll need to have Proven experience in a senior commercial role, ideally in digital health. Experience leading a team remotely. Strong track record in P&L management, commercial strategy, and delivering revenue growth. Experience working in regulated healthcare markets or with online service models Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision-making. Strategic thinking with the ability to execute at pace. Accomplished computer and smartphone skills to help the team navigate the world of online healthcare.
