Location: Willenhall, West Midlands
Hours: Approx. 27 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Salary: £15,000 – £19,000 pro rata (dependent on experience)

An opportunity has opened up for a Procurement & Logistics Assistant to join a specialist engineering company that designs and builds equipment used to manage some of the world’s most hazardous materials. Our work supports critical sectors including defence, emergency response, and civil nuclear helping organisations around the world operate safely in high-risk environments.
This is a part-time role supporting the Procurement Manager with purchasing, stock control, and logistics operations. It’s ideal for someone looking to grow their experience in supply chain administration within a technical and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Procurement & Logistics Assistant

Assist with processing purchase orders and communicating with suppliers

Maintain inventory and stock records accurately
*
Help pack, dispatch, and coordinate deliveries to international customers
*
Update internal systems with delivery schedules and tracking details
*
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the procurement and operations teams
Essential skills and attributes of the Procurement & Logistics Assistant:

Basic understanding of procurement, logistics, or inventory processes
*
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
*
Strong attention to detail and time management
*
Proactive and willing to learn new systems and processes
*
Some prior experience in admin or logistics is an advantage, but not essential
